Stone Forest

Stone Forest (Shílín, 石林) is a major tourist attraction near Kūnmíng (昆明). This alone should prevent you from even thinking about visiting since Chinese ideas about tourism are just repulsive. I was surprised to like it. Visiting outside of main season, the place is deserted and mostly silent. The valley is diverse and large enough for you to get some walk. Chill out.
